One of the things I intend to do on this site is collect sayings and quotations that have had impact on me in some format or another with the purpose of passing on the meaning of that knowledge down to my kids.  Also, in dry spots elaborating on that wisdom, if nothing else, gives me a subject on which to write.

• Everything that is once was, everything that will be has been before.
• It’s easy to do what’s convenient, it’s hard to do what’s right.
• Everything in moderation, nothing in excess.
• Quitting happens before stopping occurs.
• Living in the past keeps you from living anywhere else.
• Thoughts become words; words become actions; actions become habits; habits become behavior; behavior becomes character.
